    Hi Cavey85;

    Yes, you can change the slug, go to simple-event-planner/includes/class-simple-event-planner-post-types.php and find the following line.

    'rewrite' => FALSE,

    replace it with

    'rewrite' => TRUE,

    Further, You need to open admin panel, go to Settings and change permalinks structure to “Post name” and press “Save changes”.
