Change tool defaults in block editor
-
I am very new to WordPress, so I’m still finding my way around and learning best practices, etc.
The new block editor is frustratingly minimalist, and I’ve realized I just have to accept that until WordPress decides to make changes/improvements. But I’m hoping there is way to change the defaults of the editor options/menus (I’m struggling to figure out the correct terminology for everything, so forgive me if the way I describe things is confusing).
Specifically, I am trying to change the text formatting for the footer menu on my theme. For some reason, it is currently in all caps (probably because I did something wrong earlier). To fix this, I have to select each link in the menu, go to styles in the righthand sidebar, click the 3 dots next to Typography, and then one-by-one click on each of the tools (Font family, appearance, … , letter case, etc). Over and over again.
Is there any way to just turn everything on in every section of the editor by default?
