# Changed blog from http to https – Counter values are zero

 * In the last days I’ve modified my blog from http to https.
    All the posts from
   before show me as counter value nothing (zero).
 * Only a new post, published with https, has counter values greater than 0.
 * Is this caused by the changed URL? From [http://<myhost>/post1](http://<myhost>/post1)
   to [https://<myhost>/post1](https://<myhost>/post1) ?
 * I’ve tried to set in an old post the shariff-shortcode url to [shariff url=http://
   <myhost>/post1] but nothing changed…
 * Is there a way to get the real counter values from before?

 * that has nothing to do with Shariff directly, instead it is related to the way
   the social networks handle share counts. For Facebook [https://yourdomain.com](https://yourdomain.com)
   is a different site than [http://yourdomain.com](http://yourdomain.com). There
   are numerous articles out there on how to adjust to that (simple google “share
   counts https http” or similar).
