# Changed site URL http to https, can’t log in

 * From the dashboard I think I went into settings. I changed the URL by adding 
   an s, in 2 places.
 * I cannot log in, or access wp-admin, or config.
 * The site is hosted on a friend’s server with dreamHost and friend said they can’t
   see what I’ve changed and are too busy to fix currently. When I type in the site
   address I got a not found page.
 * I am hoping that there is something I can do without needing to go into the host?
 * If you reply I will need very simple questions or instructions that are spelt
   out. Eg Most of the solutions I’ve seen, don’t explain where to put the code.

 * Thanks for your support – I did share the website in the section for website,
   so not sure why you couldn’t see it.
 * My friend looked in the data base not the files, and found problem, so it’s been
   resolved now. Thank you.
