 * I changed ([http://destroyedsevenfold.com](http://destroyedsevenfold.com)) to(
   [https://destroyedsevenfold.com](https://destroyedsevenfold.com)) in the General
   Settings page while I was still able to login. I believe it was just the WordPress
   option, not both. I saved the change. I cannot get back to my login via the original
   URL and do not have access to https at all.
 * I have tried, to no avail, the steps on the Codex “Changing_The_Site_URL”.
 * Honestly, I have no idea what I am doing.

 * Follow this guide to change both back to HTTP directly in the database: [https://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password#Through_phpMyAdmin](https://codex.wordpress.org/Resetting_Your_Password#Through_phpMyAdmin)
 * You’ll find phpMyAdmin in your hosting account’s control panel.
 * HTTPS in one (or both) of the settings didn’t work for you because your certificate
   is invalid: [https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=destroyedsevenfold.com&hideResults=on](https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=destroyedsevenfold.com&hideResults=on)
 * If you just want to protect login and admin functions over HTTPS, and are ok
   with working with an invalid SSL certificate, leave both the WordPress and Site
   Addresses at Settings -> General as HTTP, and do this: [https://codex.wordpress.org/Administration_Over_SSL#To_Force_SSL_Logins_and_SSL_Admin_Access](https://codex.wordpress.org/Administration_Over_SSL#To_Force_SSL_Logins_and_SSL_Admin_Access)

 * Maybe I do know a little more than I stated. I clicked around phpMyAdmin until
   I found the URL edit option. But thank you for pointing me to the obvious answer:
   my hosting account.
