Changed URL – lost site

I wanted to remove the /wp from the URL of my site. I followed the directions as best as I could but certain files I couldn’t find, and it didn’t end up working. I tried the other ways to revert back my website to the old URL according to the guides including editing the config file etc etc but overall I think my inexperience is limiting me from getting this done as I’m still unsuccessful. I’m also afraid I may have done too much.

Now when I go there the format is completely off and the log in page takes me to an error page. I can’t get into my admin page anymore and frustrated to the point of wanting to restart it over again.
