Changed wp-admin name and can't remember it!

    I need help please!

    I changed wp-admin to something else last night but didn’t make a note of it because I use Dashlane to keep all passwords, etc and thought it had updated it. It wasn’t a problem this morning because I still managed to login with no problem. I’ve just tried again now though and I can’t access my site. Is there a way to re-set this please?

    Thank you. I’ve already changed the name. My problem is that I didn’t make a note of it because I use Dashlane fro passwords, etc and thought it had updated it. It wasn’t an issue this morning and I managed to log in with no problem. Now I can’t login.

    I’m beginning to wonder if it’s a problem with the host. I have another site which is still /wp-admin/ and I can’t access that one either now but I accessed it earlier – I see 403 Forbidden

    I suppose if you accessed them earlier today, but now you can’t, and they’re both on the same host, then checking with the host is probably a good next step.

    I’ve tried but can’t login – and I definitely haven’t changed that password so I’m hoping it’s an issue with them. I’ll leave it until tomorrow and if I still can’t access everything I’ll have to ring them. Thanks for the advice. Fingers crossed I’ll be able to mark this post as resolved tomorrow.
