# Changes in database?

 * Does wp-insert perform any changes in the database? I installed this plugin on
   a wordpress installation where [http://blaskan.net/](http://blaskan.net/) team
   is installed. Unfortunately when I activated the plugin it crashed the whole 
   site. I then removed the plugin by deleting the plugin folder in FTP. The site
   is up and running again, but I tend to get error messages like “Error in establishing
   a database connection”.
 * My question is: is this plugin making any changes in the database? I’ve never
   had any database problem before so I fear the plugin could still be causing problems
   for me.

 * The plugin does not make any changes to the database. It does add data to the
   database but uses the wordpress API to do so; hence the plugin wont cause any
   issues to your database.

 * It just did the exact same thing to me: my whole site crashed! I removed it via
   ftp, I still can’t see the site but my hosting manager says it’s all good now.
   
   Pretty big bug for such a popular plugin, isn’t it?
