# Changing Admin Interface

 * How do you change the admin interface?
    When I post, I would like to upload a
   picture to the server as well as my text. What I do now is upload the text via
   WordPress, then upload the picture via FTP, then edit the post to insert image
   and copy in the URL address of the image. This is a bit cumbersome and time-consuming
   when you post with pictures frequently. So is there a general way to change/alter
   the admin interface? Do you know of any good tutorials? Thanks in advance.

 * Thanks skebrown for the info… directory is not currently write-enabled but will
   change that and give the upload feature a try.
    I agree that you should be able
   to customize the admin interface. I, for one, would like to add a feature to 
   the upload pic which would set a standard size to which all pics would be transformed.
   of course, there are other ways in which the admin interface could be customized.
   I just wish I knew how … 🙁
