# Changing automatic email via php

 * Dear all,
 * Changing the automatic email “Your *company name* account has been created!” 
   does not seem to work.
 * I have created in the child theme “twentyseventeen” the folder: private_html/
   wp-content/themes/twentyseventeen/woocommerce/emails. In there, I copied the 
   file customer-new-account.php. However, if I change some words in here, the emails
   don’t change.
 * _The standard email looks as follows:_
 * _Welcome to *name company*_
 * _Hello *username*,_
 * _Thanks for creating an account on *name company*. Your username is **\*username\***.
   You can access your account area to view orders, change your password, and more
   at: website.com/my-account._
 * _Click here to set your new password._
 * _We look forward to seeing you soon._
 * 
   Other changes, in /private_html/wp-content/themes/twentyseventeen/woocommerce/
   checkout and /private_html/wp-content/themes/twentyseventeen/woocommerce/myaccount
   do work.

 * It looks like you’ve done everything correctly regarding creating the necessary
   folders and copying the file.

 * However, sometimes, because of the cache, the changes may not be visible. Can
   you head over to WooCommerce → Status → Tools, and do the following:
    - WooCommerce transients – Clear
    - Expired transients – Clear
    - Clear template cache – Clear
    - Capabilities – Reset Capabilities
    - Clear customer sessions -Clear
    - Product lookup tables – Regenerate
    - Regenerate the product attributes lookup table – Regenerate
 * Next, please clear your browser and server cache and then check again.
