# Changing Link Box Width

 * Great little shortcode, it’s going to be very useful to make links look more 
   interesting on my site…
 * For some reason the link box is going the whole width of the page, when I only
   want it to cover a percentage of say, 50% of the area it’s in.
 * I imagine it’s because I’m doing something wrong… 😀
 * Any suggestions?

 * Having the link full width is normal for the default templates. You could switch
   to a static template on the Settings > Visual Link Preview page and set the max-
   width in those settings.

 * How do I select a static template in my page? Sorry, I’m completely new to this
   plug in! 🙂

   at the top.

 * Even using Default, it’s not changing width. I realise it may be me missing something
   obvious…

 * What did you set the “Default Template” setting to now?
 * If you set it to “Static – Simple” and then use the “Use Custom Styling” setting
   for Static Template below you can set the “Max width” to the pixel value you 
   want it to be.
