# Changing Menu

 * I love this theme, but would like to add a simple menu above the header image.
   The theme’s default menu is a drop down and I would like to delete it.
 * Can someone help me figure out what to delete and add to the CSS to make that
   happen?
 * I’d like a simple dark gray bar with white words linking to my blog, Youtube &
   podcast that shows up all the time and isn’t a drop down menu.

 * Hi Sarah – to add your own menu to Lyretail, you’ll need to make some template
   changes, and will require some PHP, HTML, and CSS skills.
 * The first step is to create a child theme, so your changes won’t be overwritten
   when you update the theme. If you’re new to child themes, you can explore these
