# Changing permalink

 * Help. Because I changed a page name, WP changed the link from /313 to /313-1 
   It is essential that this page be restored to it’s original /313 link.

 * Remove 313 from the _trash_ and then rename the permalink back to 313. When a
   page is the trash and you use the same slug, it will append the slug with -#.

 * Hi and thank you.
 * I tried this, if I understand you correctly. As in I trashed and permanently 
   deleted the page. Created a new one and named it 313 but it defaulted to 313-
   2 again.
 * But I have just found a plugin (Permalink Finder) that finds any number related
   I guess. If i type in “[http://site.com/313&#8221](http://site.com/313&#8221);
   it will redirect to the new page “[http://site.com/313-2&#8221](http://site.com/313-2&#8221);.
   Which is fine because the most important thing is for users to be able to see
   the content on that page!
