• Hi Charlie. I’ve come across another problem I could use some help with. I’m trying to include the category in the url. From another post I read I get the impression it can be done but it doesn’t seem to be working. I’ve enabled categories on WPMOLY and added /%category%/ to the permalink structure, but when I add a new movie, select a category and type in a title, the permalink still defaults to “/wordpress/movies/the-title”

Is there any way to set it to “/wordpress/category-name/movies/movie-title” ? Thanks.

  • Hi Nathaniel,

Technically it should be possible, but I’m not quite sure how it would work with the plugin as there’s already quite a few issues with the way it handles permalinks… Probably not a good idea right now, but I’ll keep this in mind for the next versions!

I thought it was just a problem with my installation. Isn’t it already available through the dashboard in Taxonomies > General > Enable Categories?

That setting simply allow movies to support categories, it does not affect the permalinks; that’s quite illogical now that you’ve mentioned it, enabling categories should imply supporting the related permalink structure. I’ll see to it in a future version!
