# Changing “reading time” setting

    Can I change setting of “reading time” in metabox? Almost all my posts
   are calculated as “1 min read” based on default setting, but because I post in
   a language other than English, it takes longer, easily takes 3 to 4 minutes in
   fact.

    But actually I want to use OceanWP’s read time function, not other
   plugins. Because I like coffee mug icon of OceanWP read time. So I want to change
   their setting of words per minute.

 * Due to character of the language (Japanese), I changed “str_word_count” to “mb_strlen”
   and it worked!

 * i have the same issue mins read is always 1 min for all posts ,and i can’t fix
   it with that
