# Changing Response Text

 * I would like the automatic response to be changed from “Thank you, your records
   have been updated!” to “Thank you. Welcome to our Newsletter!”
 * Tried updating in these files but nothing happens. Do i miss something ?
 *     ```
       Filename : default-form-messages.php
       Location : /public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/config
   
       Filename : mailchimp-for-wp.pot
       Location : /public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-wp/languages
       ```

 * Please go to Mailchimp for Wp > Form > Messages and change the message there 
   to anything you want.

 * I dont find Messages tab.,
 * Navigating to this
    Mailchimp for Wp > Form > Messages
 * All i could see is Fields / Settings / Appearance Tabs

 * well after seeing the screenshot i got a check and it seems that tab is been 
   hidden (not sure why) and i just made enabled (via inspect) and now i could change.
