# Changing server

 * I’m changing server and I’m getting the following problem:
 * I backed up my msql database, uploaded it to the new mysql server, uploaded wordpress
   to the new server (with the new wp-config). Finally I upgrade (/wp-admin/upgrade.
   php). But when I type the new url on my browser, it sends me to the old server.
 * Please help!

 * The problem you have here is that the database contains several references to
   the domain on which WP was installed.
 * The easiest way to resolve this is to open up the export of your database in 
   a text editor, then search/replace _yourolddomain.com_ to _yournewdomain.com_.
 * Once this is done reimport the database onto your new server and all should be
   OK.
