# Changing slug without changing permalink?

 * I posted an entry with a long title, and forgot to add a slug, so now the permalink
   has a /really-long-title/ URL.
 * If I change the slug, is this going to change/break the permalink? (I guess not,
   but I’m not sure.)

 * Well, the permalink (?p=X) isn’t effected, but what you mean is the mod_rewrite
   nice permalink, which yes it will effect it if the post-title is part of your
   structure because it uses the slug to generate the link.
