# Changing the wordpress folder

 * I currently have all of my wordpress files in a folder on my site called “wwordpress”
   and I would like to change the name of that folder. Except for the URL paths 
   of all internal links, what else needs to be changed for this to work? I believe
   data in the database needs to be altered as well?

 * I don’t know but could it be that you are not happy with your url:
    [http://www.yoursite.com/wwordpress](http://www.yoursite.com/wwordpress)?
 * There is an easy way to change to [http://www.yoursite.com](http://www.yoursite.com)(
   meaning that in the adress bar only [http://www.yoursite.com](http://www.yoursite.com)
   shows) without moving your wp installation.
