 * Tried to go to the theme’s page and couldn’t find “View Support Forum.” So I’m
   posting here.
 * I am using Happenstance theme and like it fine. However, I do not have a mobile
   device and assumed that whatever I had done to make the site responsive would
   do the trick. IT was so long ago that I don’t recall what was done. Anyhow, I
   was recently with someone who looked at the site on their iphone and it had a
   major problem…the scrolling pictures across the top are from the customized sidebar
   on one particular page, not the Home page. I don’t actually have a scrolling
   picture bar on the Desktop Home page, so don’t know why it is on the mobile home
   page. Jetpack folks looked it over and say it isn’t their problem…or they don’t
   see a problem…so contact the theme designer. I can’t figure out how to do so.
   1) How do I contact the designer of Happenstance?
 * 2) What will happen is I decide to switch to another theme? Will I have to redo
   lots of pages? I haven’t entered much CSS code, as I’m too stupid to do so, but
   I have lots of pages!
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fchanging-theme-to-responsive%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * I recommend asking at [https://wordpress.org/support/theme/happenstance#new-post](https://wordpress.org/support/theme/happenstance#new-post)
   so the plugin’s / theme’s developers and support community can help you with
   this.
 * However, it’s not really being maintained, so consider finding a different theme.
 * Your content is independent of the theme, so it will be preserved.

 * generally, the support forum for it would be here [https://wordpress.org/support/theme/happenstance/](https://wordpress.org/support/theme/happenstance/)

   however, your theme seems to be unsupported for a while [https://wordpress.org/themes/happenstance/](https://wordpress.org/themes/happenstance/)
 * changing a theme will not change the content of your pages and post, but might
   have different ways to use and display those contents, and maybe featured images,
   etc…
 * btw, the given link is not working, it possibly might be [https://journeysintolight.org/new-journeys](https://journeysintolight.org/new-journeys)
 * there are not scrolling pictures in that one, neither when watched in the desktop
   not in an android mobile. no customized sidebar neither…
 * > …the scrolling pictures across the top are from the customized sidebar on one
   > particular page,
 * what page is that?

 * Sorry, the link should have been [https://journeysintolight.org](https://journeysintolight.org)
   which would take you to home page. That’s the one that my friend’s iphone showed
   scrolling pictures across the top. The pictures belong on sidebar of page [https://journeysintolight.org/crop-circles/representative-journeys/](https://journeysintolight.org/crop-circles/representative-journeys/)
   as they are crop circle drawings.
 * However, if Happenstance isn’t being supported anymore, it sounds like I need
   to move on to a different theme.
 * If the new theme will have “new ways to display and use content” will I have
   to go back through all of the previous posts, or just take my chances on how
   posts display? I take it that I’ll have to check out each particular page on
   the menu to be sure it looks as I want it to. Will Sidebars be altered? I have
   several pages with customized sidebars and I want them to be synched up to each
   other.
 * As long as I don’t have to mess with CSS code, I can slog through the rest of
   it, if I must. But advice is always welcome. (Obviously, I don’t like change,
   which is why I’m using the same theme I started out with six years ago!)
 * Thanks.
