 * Hi guys and gals,
 * We’re looking at changing our theme from Puzzles to Explicit. We have almost
   2000 posts on the site and many include shortcodes from our current Puzzles theme.
   We already have to edit all the posts to change featured images, tables etc but
   we’re looking for possible ways to save time if we can.
 * Can anyone give advice, or recommend a solution, for ensuring all current shortcodes
   function and work exactly as they do now after switching to a new theme.
 * Any advice is greatly appreciated.
 * Thanks!

 * generally, you could consider to move the shortcode functions into a self-made
   plugin.
    you might need to contact your theme’s developers for help with the
   details. [http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Commercial_Products](http://codex.wordpress.org/Forum_Welcome#Commercial_Products)
