    Without knowing which themes you are comparing I would imagine some of the issues you may need to resolve are:

    • main blog/content area, will it display your current posts “correctly”
    • widget placements and/or availability
    • sidebar widths possibly affecting general content or ads

    Those come to mind from a generic standpoint
