I changed the site’s URL from a subfolder to the root.
    How can I tell Yoast?
It made me reload “SEO Data Optimization.” Is that enough?
    Thanks

    Hello @ricsca2

Thanks for using Yoast SEO. Yes, re-doing the SEO data optimization is the way to go. Also, confirm that the new URL is what you have as the site address URL or WordPress address URL.

How can I force the optimization to be redone?

    We’ve summarized the steps below.

    1. Install & activate the Yoast Test Helper plugin
    2. Go to Tools > Yoast Test
    3. Locate the Yoast SEO section and click on the ‘Reset indexables tables & migrations‘, ‘Reset Prominent words calculation‘, and ‘Reset Internal link counter‘ buttons. After each click, the page will reload to confirm that the specific reset was successful.
    4. Go to Admin > Yoast SEO > Tools
    5. Click the “Start SEO data optimization” button to allow Yoast to rescan your content.
