 * I followed the instructions [here](https://contactform7.com/faq/rest-api-is-deactivated-on-my-site-can-i-use-contact-form-7/)
   to use CF7 even without REST-API.
 * It works, just character-count doesn’t work! The default number of characters
   does not count down. What can be the reason?
