# Character set problems

 * I’m having a problem with using Danish characters (such as æ, ø, Ã¥) on a recently
   set up blog: [http://www.sfinxen.nu/?cat=1](http://www.sfinxen.nu/?cat=1) . See
   the top part of the side bar, where there’s a ? instead of the correct Danish
   letter. I’m sure there’s a really simple way to fix this but I haven’t found 
   the information on the Codex to do so.

 * Hi troelsmyrup,
    I’m not exactly an expert, but have you tried to use a character
   entity for that specific character? For example, I’ve had character problems 
   before with javascript links using the “&” character and have to use an entity
   instead.

   Scroll down after you click that and it will show you some character entities
   for the characters you need.
