 * Hi, I have a marketplace (WCFM) page with the chat module enabled with FireBase.
   It worked but stopped connecting after installing Wordefence. Could it be blocking
   something?

 * Hi [@ppantaleo](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ppantaleo/), thanks for dropping
   us a message about this.
 * This seems like [Learning Mode](https://www.wordfence.com/help/firewall/learning-mode/)
   could solve the connection issue. From the **Wordfence Dashboard** click on **
   Manage WAF**. Then you will see **Basic Firewall Options > Web Application Firewall
   Status**. Change the option to **Learning Mode**. This will help Wordfence learn
   that any actions during this time are normal and it will allow them in the future.
 * During this time, try to visit the page(s) that contain the chat module.
 * Afterwards, switch the WAF from Learning Mode back to **Enabled and Protecting**.
 * Thanks,
 * Peter.

 * Hi [@ppantaleo](https://wordpress.org/support/users/ppantaleo/),
 * Thanks for trying that. I was hoping the Javascript errors visible in your original
   screenshot were due to blocks, but that appears to not be the case.
 * Could you try disabling Wordfence only, and let me know if the problem persists?
 * If it does, to be absolutely sure of the source of the problem, you could install
   a maintenance mode plugin so that your site visitors don’t get unexpected results
   when trying to visit your site. After enabling maintenance mode, disable all
   plugins except for your chat script, then re-enable plugins until the problem
   returns. Also try switching to a default theme like Twenty Twenty as sometimes
   script errors such as this can be caused by files included with themes.
 * Let me know how you get on!
 * Thanks,
 * Peter.
