I’m a little confused by what you’re saying. What you’ve described sounds like the Express Checkout experience, where it would redirect to PayPal and then back to your site. The first thing you said here, though, is that you want to keep the experience on the website, so that sounds like you do NOT want any redirection..??
Yes, My bad, I know is a little confusing.
Here is the flow:
1- Customer shops
2- Goes to the Cart
3- Clicks on “Checkout with paypal”
4- Logs in PayPal
5- Comes back to my website and continues with the checkout with all his PayPal information. Billing, Shipping
Every PayPal plugin Ive seen, takes the user out of my website, the user comes back after all the checkout process, which happens on PayPal not on my website :(.
What you’re describing is the Express Checkout experience. Payments Standard would leave you stranded (depending on settings) at the PayPal site as opposed to coming back to your site. If you setup Express Checkout in this plugin, though, I think you’ll get exactly what you’re looking for.
Do you guys have any how to document?
I’ve been looking all over the internet for this solution.
thanks
PayPal documents Express Checkout in general very well. I would take a look at that.
You might also want to take a quick look at this video covering the advantages of Express Checkout over Standard.
Again, what you’ve described is exactly what Express Checkout is.
Thank you,
i’ve set up the checkout express but paypal is redirecting me to
http://myweb.com/checkout/review-order?pp_action=revieworder&token=EC-4MS86484ST2580708&PayerID=YF6D6TD5UV99
This page doesn’t exist :(.
I’m going to review the documents you sent me.
thanks.
Sorry, i can’t find where to set up this PayPal express plugin. this documentation is a little bit out of topic, Remember that we are working with woocommerce.
regards
The doc I linked you to was a general overview of Express Checkout itself so you could get an understanding of how it works (which is exactly what you described you are wanting.)
When you first activate PayPal for WooCommerce it should have created the review page that is coming up as 404 not found for you. Did you delete that page? If you disable and re-activate the plugin it should re-create it for you. You need to make sure to leave that page alone because that’s what gets used as the review page.
