  • That post is about nine months old and appears to reference an older version of the theme. I suggest creating a child theme using the normal procedure.

    Thank you. I tried the normal way again of making a child theme and made sure this time that child theme was selected in theme options and everything was fine.

    I created a child theme and everything seems ok, except that now my sidebar and footer widgets are showing up all at the bottom – stacked on one another, instead of where they should. How do I fix this?
