Added a child theme and tried to add a header widget. Not possible. Made the same changes to the theme, and it worked. The theme is not compatible with child themes. BEWARE!

We would like you to check the demo of child themes. It does support header image. Header image will be shown in archive, blog and search pages. It does not show up in front page.

We did not get what are saying about header widget. Fabulist doesn’t have header widget area.

Please confirm the issue in demo sites, provided in WordPress Themes directory.
