Chrome Blocking Third Party Cookies

Hi there,

I am not an expert to this extent, so I apologize upfront if this is a silly question.

I came across information that Google has been working for some time now and plans to disable support for third party cookies in Chrome: https://www.thinkwithgoogle.com/intl/en-gb/future-of-marketing/privacy-and-trust/chrome-private-web-third-party-cookies/

It says: “Google’s Chrome browser is responding … with plans to remove support for third-party cookies”.

My question is whether this will have impact (and if yes what will be the impact) on sites built with WordPress and/or plugins in particular?
