 * Just looking for some clarification with regard to what the product does and
   doesn’t do, as follows:
 * – With regard to core updates, does the plugin disable automatic background updates,
updates from the WP Admin Dashboard/Updates page, or both?
    – If I’m using an
external management console such as WP Remote, iThemes Sync, etc., will the plugin
prevent these platforms from performing core, plugin and sync updates? – Can
this plugin replace similar/related plugins I have used in the past, e.g. Advanced
Automatic Updates and Plugin Protector? I’d really like to standardise on a single
plugin for all these update/protection related functions.

 * If you select the Disable Core Updates setting and the Disable Background Updates
   setting, it will do both.

 * This is a very good question. Recently I actually signed up to iThemes Sync and
have been meaning to test this. Disable Updates Manager appears to not block
updates on iThemes Sync so I would assume that it would block updates on other
remote Dashboard managers. As for on that would just change the look of your
dashboard, it should disable those updates.
 * I will look into adding a feature to disable the updates on iThemes Sync.

 * This plugin will disable all types of updates no matter what other plugins are
installed. I have tested it with Advanced Automatic Updates, and it blocks the
   updates still.
