# class-wp-installer.php issues

 * Everytime I go to “Plugins” in the backend. I get a screen full of the following
   code:
 * It just started and I’ve had WP 4.8.2 and Tooset Types v2.2.16 for a while.
 * Notice: Undefined index: slug in /wp-content/plugins/types/vendor/otgs/installer/
   includes/class-wp-installer.php on line 313

 * Just repeats itself. I deactivate Toolset Types version 2.2.16 and everything
   is fine. I re-activate Types and the Notices show up again.
 * What can I do besides turn off DEBUG mode to fix this.

 * Okay, I’m on Pantheon.io and the plug-ins is not writable in GIT mode. I think
   your new version when checking for updates does not like a non-writable plug-
   ins folder.
 * I switched to SFTP mode and checked for a Toolset Types update, there isn’t one
   because I have the latest version. Switched back to GIT mode and the issues has
   gone away. Not sure if it’s permanently gone away or if your plugin does not 
   like a Read-Only code base and will come back.

 * We have had similar issues, and the solution was similar:
    You need to trigger
   the update check for plugins.
 * I added this issue to that list, and we will try to find out what is going wrong.
 * It is possible that we need some Copy of your Site for debugging.
 * For this purpose, could you post a ticket [here](https://wp-types.com/forums/forum/general-and-pre-sales-questions),
   where we can enable private forms?
    In WordPress forums, we cannot share login
   or other sensitive data.
 * We can then catch the bug much faster if we have a copy of a site where the issue
   happens/happened.
