Last modified: August 20, 2016 --- # Clean Up Multisite Database? * [Tevya](https://wordpress.org/support/users/thefiddler/) * (@thefiddler) * [13 years, 4 months ago](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/clean-up-multisite-database/) * I’m trying to clean up a multisite database, and I’m wondering if there’s a quick/ easy way to tell what tables a plugin creates, OR when looking at the database, what plugin created a table or tables? * I’m fairly certain that old plugins and/or plugins from sites that were imported via BackupBuddy, have brought in a lot of tables and garbage that aren’t needed any longer. However, I’m blanking out on any good way to figure out which are tied to which plugin, etc. Any ideas/help appreciated. I removed 6 sites and the tables are still in Mysql. Below are the tables. And I read Mika’s wordpress 101 and 110, very good reading. * The wordpress install for [http://www.vashonguide.com](http://www.vashonguide.com) is a closed registration group of sites more for the marketing of my local community Vashon Island. I have 5 multi site installs 1 folders and the other 4 sub domain. All work great.
