# Clear cache programmatically

 * I’d like to trigger the clearing of the cache from another plugin. I found this
   3 years old snippet here: [https://wordpress.org/support/topic/clear-the-cache-programmatically/](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/clear-the-cache-programmatically/)
 * The class can’t be found. It is there of course, but it looks like it can’t be
   called from another plugin.
 * Am I missing something or has the code changed since then? If so: is there any
   way to trigger the cache-clear programmatically?

   for this late reply! A lot of time has been put into the latest version that 
   was just released (including making lots of tests). The code you found should
   still work 100%, as the method is there. Perhaps, it was called incorrectly from
   another plugin.
 * Can you provide to me more details about this one? How are you actually calling
   it from another plugin? Are you editing directly an existing plugin instead of
   using hooks? I assume they are not available or it’s a custom plugin. Let me 
   know at your earliest convenience!
