# Cloudflare http or https

 * Hi and need some advice as I’m a bit confused
 * I use the free service Cloudflare offer to have secure URL for Google
 * I use WordPress and in the past under the settings I’ve set the url up as [http://url.com](http://url.com)
   both the WordPress address and site address.
 * I was talking to a friend that said as the url is using cloudflare it should 
   be [https://url.com](https://url.com). I’ve not had any issues using the url 
   set up as http:// but just make to make sure I’m doing the correct thing so that
   SEO isn’t effected
 * Can anyone confirm this as I’m not able to find the information anywhere

   advise you to use their WordPress plugin and follow the setting wizard.
