# cloudflare settings

 * I have **cloudflare** for my wordpress blog
    [blog.onlineprasad.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cloudflare-settings/blog.onlineprasad.com?output_format=md)
   and it is subdomain of of our website [http://www.onlineprasad.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/cloudflare-settings/www.onlineprasad.com?output_format=md),
   but now when I logged in to cloudflare website to get API key it asked me to 
   set some settings and at last It is asking me to change my DNS name. Shall I 
   change this ? Will there be any effect on my website with this setting.

 * Yes , you should change the Nameservers ( DNS ) to enable the website to load
   from the servers of Cloudflare.
    Always make a backup of your files before making
   such changes.
