I’m having exactly same issue and hope this is going to be addressed very soon!
Hi @topfgartenwelt , @stipica,
Would you please refer to this thread?
I hope it will help. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any further queries.
Kind regards,

For me that thread is no help, because I don’t use a caching Plugin, I have serverside cache and nothing else…
Greetings Kathrin
Hi @topfgartenwelt,
Then, what if you try to temporarily disable the server-side cache and do another test. See how it affects the CLS score.
Let us know how you go.
Kind regards,
Herman π
Unfortunately there is no change if the server-side cache is on or of. The CLS is always about 0,115.
There are 3 Layout-shifts causing the CLS: the main-menu and the header section itself. Here are the screenshots: https://imgur.com/a/ulPgyGd, https://imgur.com/a/lo1y62j and https://imgur.com/a/z7Q9Y91.

Hi @topfgartenwelt,
I am, personally, still quite sure that this is related to the optimization that is done by another thing on your site. At least that’s what happened to the other users, including the one who contacted us for the same issue thru our Support Portal.
I would suggest you dig a bit more on it and a bit of patience until our dev team finishes working on the major update, as I explained in the other thread I mentioned in my previous response.
Kind regards,
Herman π
Dear Herman, I have disabled all plugins and run nothing for the performance optimization on the test server… Maybe it get’s better with the plugin.
Greetings
Hi @topfgartenwelt,
How did you go with that on the test server? Did you get any better results? Please let us know how you go.
Kind regards,
Herman π
In my case, @brainstormteam, there is CLS on WooCommerce products, possibly introduced by some other plugin, just to let you know!
Hi @stipica,
Thanks for sharing this. I am sure it would help the other users.
I would also like to share something related to this.
The very last case I handled was related to Lazy Load. The CLS score of the site was between 0.175 and 0.2 consistently. There was an image optimation plugin installed on the site and this plugin has a Lazy Load feature. Once I deactivated the Lazy Load feature – yes, only the Lazy load feature and I left the plugin active – the CLS score turned to 0.007 on mobile and 0 on desktop.
I hope this could help other users who struggle with the CLS issue.
Kind regards,
Herman π
