# Code editor showing red means code errors? See image

 * Hi Folks,
 * My functions.php file shows code with red highlights and I wonder if red indicates
   code errors? For example, there’s no ?> after the `endif` but when I added ?>
   after it, the red highlight didn’t go away.
 * Could someone explain red highlighs on code? View this image [IMG]http://i42.

   and tell me if it’s correct. I added new calls to the functions.php but the `
   endif` red highlight was there before I made any changes to functions.php.

 * The reason for my question above is because I added a new header width and height
   ot my child theme functions.php and I think the 940 x 198 size isn’t displaying
   on [http://www.rcrumbcom.dreamhosters.com/](http://www.rcrumbcom.dreamhosters.com/)
   is due to the code red errors.
 * I choose the above dimensions because they look nice on [http://2010dev.wordpress.com/readability/](http://2010dev.wordpress.com/readability/)
   so I’d like to duplicate it.
