 * I guess I never really noticed it before, but the Pods Code field accepts **shortcodes**.
   This provides for a supremely simple way to display things like image sliders
   with almost no additional coding, no additional work with ACF, etc. In my case,
   all a user has to do to add something like an image slider to a page via Pods,
   is to put the correct shortcode in the Pods field. I have done this with SmartSlider3,
   and it’s really useful. Just FYI.

 * Great, good to hear.
 * Also see [https://docs.pods.io/displaying-pods/pods-templates/using-shortcodes-in-pods-templates/](https://docs.pods.io/displaying-pods/pods-templates/using-shortcodes-in-pods-templates/)
   for enabling shortcodes in other fields or Pods Templates.
 * The issue from the original post before editing seemed to be the format of the
   shortcode — using `{` instead of `[`.

 * Actually, there was a different syntax error in the template. The shortcode that
   works in the Pod is in brackets.
