# Code stopped working for count…

 * I upgraded the other day to the newer version and encountered some problems. 
   The widget counter works fine but the inline code:
 * <?php echo do_shortcode(“[CPD_READS_THIS]”); ?>
 * is no longer responding on posts. Worked great till upgrade. Deactivated all 
   plugins and could not get it to come back. Uninstalled and reinstalled with no
   luck.
 * Can I get you to take a look?
 * Would run in the kicker: January 23, 2014, 5:16 pm : + ‘xxx’ <count

 * Nevermind, problem with theme change and php inserts. Had to load it in a widget.

 * If I can bump this to ask one question. I have had this plugin forever. I remember
   an older version that gave a lot more detail on the admin page with all post 
   reads, individual post counts, countries, etc. This obviously has been dropped.
   Was there a specific problem with it, and if not is that version/build still 
   available? Probably took up too much room but the detail was great.

 * Thanks for the reply. This has been a problem for quite a while. I would say 
   since update to 3.0.
 * A screenshot might be hard since all elements come up in one column stretching
   down the page. It does show:
 * Plugin info
    Total Visitors Visitors online Search strings
 * The admin page stops loading half way through. Cannot access screen options. 
   Source code shows page ending on:
 * stories-to-make-you-think-smile/, esey on humour and wisdom, incest blogs, imgsrc.
   ru private sex, where can i order Hookers Lips plants, pics of bad driving, day
   to day farm blog, [http://www.theblogfarm.com/my-submission-to-an-essay-contest-results/](http://www.theblogfarm.com/my-submission-to-an-essay-contest-results/),
   shortnote on potm

 * looks like search strings?
    maybe there is some bad code that stops the script.
   try to delete the search on the settings page. an post the end of the source 
   code (last 10-20 lines) to pastebin.com. maybe we can see somthing…

 * Wow, sorry about that, I answered the emails… which went nowhere. My bad. Here
   they are in order:
 * Hey Tom, thanks for reply. I could not find a way to delete, so I reset them 
   to 0: admin page would not load, timed out, tried several times.
 * I did paste the code to show where it hangs… then I pasted the code that finally
   came up in source (although page does not show it).

 * It was hanging up my post pages so bad I had to place the shortcode in a widget
   to get it to display for authors. Let me know… thanks

 * is this the whole source code of the page?
    i see the options and the big chart.
   check for javascript and php errors. use th wordpress debug settings to show 
   the messages or write them to a log file.
