 * Dear all, I’m facing an issue. Every code I create, the software creates a “clone”,
codified with a sequential number. This means a double code per each one in uploads/
custom-css-js folder. When I delete or modify the code, the “clone” remains unchanged
and creates troubles. To solve, I often go via ftp / Mozilla and cancel such
doubled codes. F.e. I modified a jQuery ready <p> function (a typo error in the
published wording), but the result was “two different scripts”, one modified
and the old “clone” unchanged, both creating a popup. I took time to check which
was the “clone” and erase it manually. **HOW TO AVOID THIS ANNOYING DUPLICATION
PLEASE ??** (thank you a lot). Mauro (IT)

 * Dear Diana, just to conclude our conversation.
 * After erased the unused codes from custom-css-js folder, every page still has
a long list of links that point to files which no longer exist: there is no trace
of them, but in the html headers these url’s weren’t deleted. This isn’t a big
issue, but causes an annoying list of errors 404 when the html is loaded, and
of course a loss in loading time.
 * I tried to update the pages, but nothing … In WP the html are edited by the system,
so can’t delete them manually (I didn’t try): from your knowledge about WP, is
there any way or interface to reset/refresh the pages?
 * Or how to do? Thx. Mauro

 * If the codes from the custom-css-js folder were linked from the frontend, then
obviously they were “in use” and not “unused”.
 * You can regenerate the files by opening each custom code for editing and clicking
   the “Save” button.

 * no, sorry, probably I didn’t explain well: those codes are deleted at all, because
useless, but once deleted the system did not delete the related url’s from html
   header

 * Would you please make sure to delete the custom codes from the “WP Admin -> Custom
CSS & JS” page? Then there will be no urls generated in the header.

 * thanks, as per our previous conversation, I deleted them via FTP, now I guess
that I have to put them again and then delete .. remember? I want to keep some
of them linked only to specifica pages (read our previous)

 * The plugin works by adding custom codes and linking them automatically on all
   the pages.
 * You’re free to use the plugin in any creative way, but you’re complaining that
the normal use of the plugin is inconvenient because of your custom made framework.
 * I’m sorry the plugin doesn’t work as you want with your custom made framework.
Maybe you could consider using another plugin for adding custom CSS/JS codes.
Or maybe you could adjust the custom framework so it can work with the plugin’s
normal use. But the normal use of the plugin is not a bug to be fixed.
 * Feel free to use the plugin, if it works for you. Or stop using the plugin, if
it doesn’t work for you. But it definitely doesn’t make sense to twist the plugin
in order for it to work with your custom framework.
 * I’ll stop answering any further questions related to this topic. This is a closed
   topic.

 * just I wasn’t complaining but asking, and repeat that replying is courtesy
 * your plugin is great, but in my opinion missing the option “write on all pages”/“
don’t write to all pages” .. that’s all

 * Yes, the option is missing and it doesn’t belong in the plugin.
 * If you want a custom code on all pages, then you add a custom code. If you don’t
want a custom code on all page, then you don’t add it.
