Colours displaying wrong on mobile
-
Hello!
So, I have chosen a nice warm neutral purple colour for the header and footer of my site but it is displaying on mobile, and on some desktops, as a soft peach instead. It shows fine on my own desktop but a friend tried it on both of hers and it was wrong. I haven’t uploaded a header image, just changed the background colours in Customise.
It’s absolutely baffling me. I run a test by changing it to black, red, green etc and it all displays fine but for some reason it’s not working for any of the neutral colours I have chosen.
I’m assuming I need to change something in the CSS in terms of how the colours display but I’ve no idea how to go about this. Can anybody help or suggest a fix?
Thanks so much in advance for your time and expertise!

Hello,
Can you please tell me which color do you want to use? Please provide the color code which you want to use so that I can check it.
Thank you. I am trying to use 8F767D for text headings and f2dbd7 for header and footer background. they are displaying as a quite bright pink on mobile, rather than the dusky lavenderish-pink i see on desktop (which is exactly what I’m looking for).
Thanks so much!
For the header and footer, it is the same color (f2dbd7) for desktop and mobile view. For the text heading, I didn’t see 8F767D.
Go to Dashboard > Elementor > Settings and disable the fonts and color.
Now go to Customize > Typography and adjust the body and heading color as per your need. Clear cache to see the changes.Hi,
Thanks so much for your reply. I tried this but unfortunately it hasn’t worked. The issue isn’t so much the colour selection, as it is correct for both mobile and desktop, but the way it’s displaying on different devices is different.
Thank you anyway though!
Can you please share a screenshot so that I can know what you are seeing on your end and understand the issue correctly? For me, it is the same for both desktop and mobile view.
