I created a column chart, with three series and three columns each (years-x and dollars-y).

The data is correct, but the total width of the chart FAR exceeds what is needed to display the three sets of columns, such that the columns are quite small in comparison.

Check it out here: http://southernlcms.org/stewardship/where-the-gifts-come-from/. It’s the third chart down, just after the pie chart.

Also, both the pie chart and the column chart have an EXTRA color (gray for the pie, green for the column). I didn’t have extra data in the uploaded spreadsheet, so why are these here and how do I remove them. I DO have access to the database.

I know it’s only been a couple of days since I posted this, but I have people bugging me who want this fixed. Anyone able to assist?

    Hi there,

You could edit the chart’s container size by going to the chart you want, then clicking on “Layout & Chart Area” then clicking “Chart area” and set your dimensions: http://prntscr.com/cbitl1

For the extra data I think this might be residue, try adding a label to see if the legend updates: http://prntscr.com/cbiuud

    Best regards,
    Uriahs
