# Column shortcode

 * I add the button to the editor, and use do make columns but the shortcode stay
   on the shortcode format and not became columns, I missing something?

    Sorry for my delay.
 * Did you also enable the “Column Shortcodes” option from the WP Edit Pro settings
   page? I think it’s under the “Posts/Pages” tab (but I could be mistaken).

 * Thanks, I had the enable the “Column Shortcodes” option.
    I did not know about
   it.

 * Other thing, can I style the columns with background color?
    Can I do it differently
   for the columns with classes or IDs?

 * You’re most welcome.
 * Yes, the columns (when inserted into the editor) will contain a class that will
   let you target the column via CSS.
 * I don’t have my dev environment in front of me at the moment; so I can’t provide
   the direct code. However, if you know how to “right-click” and inspect element…
   you’ll quickly find the class names.
 * If you have no idea what I’m talking about above; let me know, and I’ll get more
   specific CSS rules when I get back to my office.
