# Column Shortcodes?

 * Hello,
 * Sorry if I’m missing something obvious, but I’ve just loaded the plugin as a
   possible alternative to another column shortcode plugin. I see under the ‘Posts/
   Pages’ tab the option to enable column shortcodes. However, I don’t see any explanation
   anywhere on what those shortcodes actually are? There’s no link to documentation
   and I’m not seeing any additions to the toolbar on WP 3.9.1 (on either the Visual
   or Text tabs).
 * Also I think the description for the wpautop disable function might be backwards,
   it reads “Disable the filter responsible for removing p and br tags.” but if
   it does what I think, it should probably be “Disable the filter responsible for
   automatically adding p tags.”
 * Thanks!

 * Thanks Brian,
 * Yes, documentation is just around the corner. I have been preparing for this
   update for about six months. Each day, it’s looking like I should have started
   prepping a year ago 😉
 * Thank you for both of those ‘catches’.
 * Regarding column shortcodes… here is a very quick and dirty breakdown:
 * 1. All shortcodes use the following syntax.
    `[one_half]Picture[/one_half][one_half_last]
   Content['one_half_last]`
 * Here is another example:
    `[one_third]Picture[/one_third][two_third_last]Content['
   two_third_last]`
 * 2. You can use any combination up to `[one_sixth]`.
    3. The TOTAL of all columns
   must equal one (1).
 * Please post back with anything you can’t get to work properly.. and I’ll get
   to writing an article today regarding the usage.
 * I’ll also take a look at the verbiage pertaining to the wpautop filter.
 * Thanks Brian!!

 * I purchased the WP Edit Pro version today, but I am having the same problem with
   the free version as well.
 * I think the column shortcode is something that will make life a lot easier.
 * From what I can see the shortcode is generated, but when I go publish the post,
   the columns are not displayed.

 * I have disable all plugins except WP Edit. Active theme : Twenty Fifteen
 * Any Ideas?
 * Thanks in advance.

 * Hello, I apologize for the delay.
 * Unfortunately; I cannot support the premium version via this support forum. Please
   use my [dedicated support forum](http://forum.wpeditpro.com) instead. Thank you
   for your kind patience and understanding.
