# Comment Alerts

 * The plugin is perfect for half of what I need it for. It allows me to alert a
   list of subscribers (through my site) about every new post. Is there a way to
   extend this so that the email is auto-sent to alert subscribers to new posts 
   and new comments?

 * There are already plugins that offer the ability to subscribe to comments. They
   can be used in conjunction with Subscribe2.

 * Oh ok, thanks, I’ll try one of those. But I like the Subscribe2 menus and usage…
   there’s no way to do it with Subscribe2?

 * Subscribe2 would need extensive additions to add this functionality, it’s not
   a simple edit. That is why I would recommend using an existing solution.
