# Comment Box Missing?!

 * I am in a freak out! The comment box on posts has disappeared and no one can 
   now comment on my blog posts!!! This is bad bad bad! It seemed to have happened
   randomly out of nowhere, please help, what could have been the cause of this?
   I don’t want to go back to another theme, my blog is important to me and I just
   got it (and got it paid for) so changing the theme/layout is not an option. Comments
   were working since updating to the new layout/theme, I’m not sure when the comment
   box disappeared but it must have been sometime over the weekend! Please help.

 * Not sure why they would suddenly change but try logging in and going to Settings–
   Discussion and make sure Anyone posts a comment. Look at the other settings as
   well

 * Yes, I have checked all of the settings already. I also already tried deactivating
   all the plugins and even once the plugins were all deactivated, the comment box
   was not there. I can leave comments through my edit mode in the wp-admin on posts
   but the comment box is not there in regular view mode. I have no idea why or 
   how this happened

 * I changed back to Twenty Twenty theme and it says “comments are disabled” but
   I did NOT disable the comments! Why is this happening??

 * Looks like the comments are working with your current theme. I’m not sure why
   the comments would be turning on/off. Very strange.
