# Comment Box on Posts

 * I am unable to get a comment box to show up on my Posts. I have “Allow people
   to post comments on new articles” checked in Settings > Discussions and I also
   have “Allow Comments” checked for individual Posts. Yet, when I preview my post,
   I see no comment box. I do see a comment field for my About Us and other Pages
   though.

 * This sounds like it may be due to some sort of plugin/theme conflict (more likely
   the latter, in this case). I would recommend temporarily activating a different
   theme to see if this clears up the issue, then performing some basic troubleshooting
   with the plugins (a la deactivating them one by one, or temporarily moving them
   to an ‘.inactive’ folder in site’s plugins directory via FTP).
