# Comment moderation/notification

 * Hi all,
 * I am going to use this plugin on my website to allow users’ post which seems 
   it does the job. however there are a few question which I couldn’t find the answer
   for that:
 * 1- will the author be notified for new comments?
    2- How can I provide moderation
   to the author? 3- Is the email notification template the same as notification
   that admin receives (with links to spam, approve.. in it)?

 * Glad to help:
 * 1) Not via WordPress default functionality, nor via the plugin, but you should
   be able to find a plugin that notifies the post author of new comments.
 * 2) Set the Post Status to either Pending or Draft in the plugin settings.
 * 3) No, the email is very simple, but I think there is a hook that could be used
   to modify.

 * Thanks Jeff for the quick reply.
 * I just found the **wp_notify_moderator **function which I believe can be overridden
   for my requirements.
