   a post?
 * A checkbox that they click to be notified of follow up comments?

 * I was hoping the commenter could check a box on the comment form to be notified
   of additional comments.

   and although it notes it’s good to 2.3 only, jaquith’s plugin works well in my
   WP 2.8 and WPMU 2.8.4a installs.
